After last month’s 9,736 TEUs handled on CMA CGM Tigris, the second-best result in history in terms of manipulations handled at one time, we can also boast a historic result in December. We unloaded 5,649 TEUs and loaded 4,714 TEUs in four days from the 334-metre Ever Liberal, an Evergreen ship. With 10,363 TEUs handled, we set a new milestone at the Container Terminal. At the same time, we also loaded the highest amount of container units on a single ship.
Cargo throughput was handled by no less than six shore cranes, including four super-post panamax cranes. The Ever Liberal operates as part of the Ocean Alliance, connecting the Adriatic with the Far East.
